Personal Statement

“With more than twenty years of work experience in the field of conflict transformation, I thrive on making individual and social change possible – be it in individuals, organizations or projects and programs. With a solution-oriented focus, deep interest in psychology, spirituality and geopolitics, and a sense of humor for the tragedies and complexities of life, I embrace and truly believe in analytical openness and out-of-box thinking to appreciate different perspectives to a complex problem and conflict. I am convinced that forms of genuine and strategic cooperation make our work more sustainable, successful, credible and more fun. With a mover and shaker personality, I believe in and deeply enjoy facilitating groups’ dynamics to make a bigger and smaller change possible.

I like people, their contradictions and their stories – especially people from cultural backgrounds different from my own. They have helped me to find myself and to better understand my values and needs. The self-work I did to process and transform personally in these areas guide me as a facilitator, and I bring this, together with a broad knowledge of psychological and spiritual topics, to coaching, workshops and retreats.”
