Kathrin is a certified facilitator and trainer for sociocratic processes and nonviolent communication (NVC). Her professional journey began in the field of international politics and health, holding an academic background in both disciplines.

She worked for many years as a consultant for international health, primarily in Africa and Asia, where she managed intercultural teams and developed human resources policies in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
For almost eight years, she was responsible for managing high-level development projects, including communication and coordination with government partners, national target groups, and international donors.

Today, Kathrin brings her diverse experience into her roles as a coach for professionals, as a facilitator for team and organizational change processes, and as a trainer in interpersonal and leadership communication.

“I support development processes and help people and organizations to find the key to successful cooperation. What we think and say can either distance us from ourselves and our fellow humans, or connect us to them. I am familiar with the professional challenges of working in cultural contexts far removed from my own frame of reference, and enjoy supporting professionals boosting self-care and strengthening interpersonal relationships. Therefor I offer support and practical advice to professionals including managers on international assignments. Challenges abroad can promote and refine important skills including one’s emotional intelligence, empathy and resilience. I use methods of appreciative communication and conflict resolution and supplement them with current team and organizational development techniques.”
